Beatles Get Back documentary
I have liked the Beatles since my older sister brought home Meet The Beatles and have since bought and rebought and rebought all the albums.  Having said that, I didn’t rush out and subscribe to the Disney channel just to watch Get Back.  I’m sure...
Tuner - FM over the air - suggestions
@curtdr  I have an older Pioneer TX-950 tuner you can have, you pay shipping. JD
Is symphonic music kind of like Phil Spector got hold of chamber music?
Um no.
Whats playing on your system today?
@dcpillai  I just played that Peter Green album this week. The only thing I can say is, it’s tooo short! 😃
Upgrade Internal DAC of Node or go with Atoll ST120.
@temmple  I have the newest Node, the N130 and as a streamer it’s really pretty good. They also added USB that can be used as an input (memory stick/hard drive) or an output.  The DAC in it is better than it’s predecessors, but isn’t great by any...

Walk me thru upgrading from my BS Node
@poke33  Do you have an external DAC?  Is MQA important to you? And I tried Wi-Fi with an extender and I still had dropouts. I ended up getting a Netgear Powerline 2000+ and it’s been great! Check it out. NETGEAR Powerline adapter Kit, 2000 Mbp...
Transients hurting my ears on hifi solid state amps
@haskisoundi  You might be able to find a used Hegel H360. It’s class A/B and has more than enough power for your speakers. It’s neutral to a bit warm sounding. It’s probably going to be more than 2K, but you never know. All the best. JD
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device
@blisshifi  It’s what we do.😀   @curiousjim That is a new feature with Bluesound being able to attach external  drives, and it’s great to hear about. Thanks for sharing
NODE as just a streamer / Airplay device
I’m using a Node 130 as we speak and you can plug a memory stick in the USB with your CD’s and use a digital RCA or Optical to your amp.  The software makes it easy to switch to Tidal/Qobuz/CD.   I did just that until just recently.  Now I’m using...
Should I bi-amp or bridge my amps to feed my speakers
@kellymack  You are on the right track getting a sub. 35 watts is probably not enough to take care of the entire bottom end, but if you roll them off at say 80hz to a subwoofer or two will amaze you!  If you go with REL or similar, that use your ...
I have seen a lot of ideas concerning Cable lifters
I have found that if your room is at ground level and you have no basement or crawl space below, cable risers can be really helpful.  If your listening room is on the second floor or you have a basement underneath, they probably won’t do much. JD

Power cords or power conditioner
If you have dirty/noisy power, than a power conditioner can be great. If you have clean and quiet power, than a power conditioner is most likely a waste of money. A couple of houses ago I had noisy power and I bought an Audience AR-6 and it worked...
Ampzilla 2000 v2 and Mcintosh MC402
I had the Ampzilla and the Son of Ampzilla and both were great, but without being able to hear it on your system, you’ll have no idea how either will sound.  Having said that, Mac usually plays very well with Mac. All the best. JD
