I Hate Moving We just moved about three years ago and I hope it’s the last time for a long while. Heck, we’re getting the carpets cleaned and I have to dissemble my rig. I’m so not looking forward to that either! All the best with your move.
Happen to you? Gear chasing because the fundamentals were wrong. Back in the seventies and eighties, I listened to my dealer and he never let me down. Now he’s moved to Florida and I am without a local dealer I trust, so now I do as much research as I can and have so far been happy with my purchases.
When Will the DAC Singularity Be Reached? I recently listened to a $69k DAC is a Boulder system and everything sounded glorious! But did the DAC sound $67k better than my Pontus ll?

Primaluna Dialogue Premium Integrated driving Magnepan .7 with Bypassed Fuses @classic8 40 watts is enough, but if you want to make the Maggie’s sing, hook up a subwoofer or two and set the crossover’s to sixty-eighty hertz. By removing the bottom, 40 watts will make them rock!😁 All the best.
Would a real butcher block be going to far? A while ago I bought a bamboo cutting board with the gravy groove around the perimeter. I filled in the groove with soft rubber (?) fishing worms to isolate the board. Flipped it over and put my integrated on it. Worked like a charm.
Infinity IRS BETA I’d love to have a set! With their age, be ready to replace a bunch of capacitors, speaker surrounds and whatever time has touched. All the best! |
