phono arm to pre cables Yes, you should definitely try to use a design specific phono cable. It may be the most critical cable in your system. Depending on your budget, you might want to try the Hovland MG2, or the Cardas..... both are very good.Chris | |

Additional isolation for Preamp/ components You might try some wood blocks like the one's made by Cardas.......... I made my own out of hard maple for almost zero $$$, and while they aren't based on any scientific measurements like the Cardas, I think they make a positive difference.Chris | |
