| Power Supply with tube rectification ,any good ? I've yet to hear SS rectification sound as good as tubed rectification. I'm sure there are exceptions, but the SS rectification needs to be fast and quiet which is not always the case. | |

| Scott nixon dac.... I own a 47Labs filterless/non oversampling dac. I had owned Wadia, Accuphase and Levinson before. I am EXTREMELY happy with the sound of this gear. It is more fluid and musical and involving and communicative. Try one and see what you think. | |
| Favorite DAC? I must agree with Caterham1700. The 47 Labs dacs are superb music communicators. I have had MANY hi end digital products from Accuphase, Wadia, and Levinson and all have fallen to the musical 47Labs! | |
| Wadia upgrade - Levinson or Naim? You need to go to the Levinson 390S to significantly improve your sound VS. the Wadia. I had Wadia 850 and Levinson 39 and 390S. The 850 and 39 had strengths and weaknesses comparatively but the 390S was in a different league. | |

| Sonus Faber - Final and difficult choice I owned both the EA1 and the Guarneri Homage. I also listened to the EA2 and liked the one better. I would certainly recommend the EA1 for your situation. | |

| Are power cords and speaker cables dependent? I do recall that using all JPS cables, interconnects and power cords was a particularly synergistic match and straying from the family was of no benefit. That was a few systems ago though... | |
| Worst remote nomination... I hated the Wadia metal remote from the 850. It's receptive angle was horrible and it weighed about 15 lbs. | |
