active crossover freqncy for Totem Mani2 Agreed, it will work, but will it compromise sound quality?I guess there's only one way to know...:)Metronet, you should ask a dealer or company about the load and your 80%. As long as it doesn't sound overloaded, I would think it fine. Manis are ...
active crossover freqncy for Totem Mani2 Metronet, could you describe what exactly you are after, or what you would like to correct with what you already have? As someone above already noted, bi-wiring I think is essential with these speakers. If you want to add a little more mids, a tri...
Harbeth P3SER in 100% agreement with that...and Cwlondon, if we could all be a little more secure in what our ears tell us, we wouldn't care a farthing anyway.sound? they are wonderful little speakers with a big sound.
Little Red Dot on Totem Hawks The beaks do work, they are used for tuning/altering/controlling cabinet resonances, and their position on top of the speaker can improve or degrade the sound. Not sure what acoustic sculpture is, I believe shipping ballast would be any filler--sa...

Parasound 2100 If you said it was $1500 retail, I wouldn't bat an eye. Also, it's better than the P7. and it has a decent phono board, and a variable subwoofer out. Excellent value for the money.

45 degree placement in squarish room? Thanks! I'm finding for my room, after all these years, is that this position is yielding the best results ever...I would have thought this the craziest situation in the past. Until you hear it, live and learn, I'd say...
45 degree placement in squarish room? That's great to hear, thanks!Do they need to be equal distance from the shared corner, and respective side walls? play by ear or measure?thanks again! it sounds so good I'm afraid to move em...(don't worry, I've got friends coming over, skeptical ...
Goat Hair Brush Sorry your experiment went south. Too bad, there are plenty of old goats in this hobby to have made many a brush!
45 degree placement in squarish room? Thanks guys. No, rhljazz, I was referring to setup on two adjacent walls, the corner of the two being the center point. (I do agree with you, however.)I'm still puzzled by the degree of depth, clarity, richness and rightness of bass, and just over... |
