EMT 75th Anniversary series... TSD75 SFL ... and a bit of history.
I know exactly what you’re talking about about rubber damper, I just mentioned that even with a perfect damper this cartridge with Conical tip is a broadcast model for radio use and it can’t be even close to the same cartridge with advanced profil...

For low impedance version you need SUT or High Gain MC phono stage, I sold this cartridge long time ago when I compared it to Stanton Signature model CS-100 (it was much better in my system). Now I have low impedance Pickering XLZ-4500 and XLZ-7500...

Your Stanton will never perform as original Stereohedron if you will rebuild it, you need an original stylus with Stereohedron tip. When manufacturer is using aluminum cantilever the only benefit of this cantilever is press-fit diamond. When someo...
For all you Vinyl lovers!
My new Schick”12 inch tonearm was cheaper from OMA than from the manufacturer. At that time € to $ exchange rate was high. From OMA I bought the arm immediately, from the manufactuter it was pre-order and 2-3 month waiting time (crazy). So my expe...

I have all the rarest Technics cartridges, the last I received few month ago is p205 mk4 (NOS), I’m still a bit afraid to try it. Before this NOS sample I had the 205c mk4 (6 of them), 205c mk3 (4 of them), 100c mk3 (two of them). I had an origina...
Is It Time To Sell My Vinyl Rig?
I can check but classical titles are rarely all that valuable unless it’s a Johanna Martzy or something like that. The other problem would be selling that rare LP that’s worth $2,000.00. A record to me is only worth a lot if I’m able to sell it. Y...

If your turntable is in good condition then I think you need a great cartridge and phono stage first, you can upgrade turntable later.

Check on popsike.com for the titles on your vintage LPs, one rare record can cost more than your phono stage, turntable or amp. You will see all auction finals to get an idea about records you can sell.
