What is the "best" cartridge a Technics 1210... BTW i got a pair of those KAB dampers for a long time, the silicon fluid bath is open and collect dust all the time, i think it's better to replace the tonearm for something better to fill the silicon inside (like on jelco). This open silicon bath...
What is the "best" cartridge a Technics 1210... The wire kit you’re talking about is in fact this cardas litz 33 awg cable http://www.ebay.com/itm/400731159612 But you need two of this for stereo (single run for each channel). And for internal tonearm wire this single run (500mm piece) is long ...
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? Well, now i’m a bit confused about Noumann Pole by reading this article:http://www.pspatialaudio.com/neumann_pole.htm
My personal experience with Direct Drive versus Belt Drive Who cares?
What is the "best" cartridge a Technics 1210... I wouldn’t change the rubber mat until you have a cartridge that works fine for you. The reviews means nothing for me, the quality of SAEC SS-300 is better than anything else on earth, especislly the overpriced new toys. If you are looking for new...
What is the "best" cartridge a Technics 1210... @lordvampire Discovery Tonearm Cable is great and not so expensive, for Technics tonearm you need 25cm, but it’s not easy to find, this cable is 4 wire (4 colour) is sold by the foot. What is the "best" cartridge a Technics 1210... First you have to convert Denon’s (DL-301 MK2) compliance from 100Hz (Japanese only system) to 10Hz (Western world system):Compliance of your Denon is 13x 10-6cm/dyne @ 100 HzYou have to multiply it roughly on 1,7 to find out what is the real comp...
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? This is another interesting article written by Joseph Grado himself about his Signature pickups like Grado XTZ (I love this spectacular MI cartridge):"The frequency response of the Grado Signature XTZ pickup is set for maximum musicality and excit...
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? That's interesting and probably system dependent, but i found the 47k dull compared to more open and airy sound with 100k loading. Anything under 47k was even worse. Maybe i need more time to experiment with it.
What turntable and TONEARM brands sound best with the Denon DL103 and DL 103R? MC's @breezer NO! The Stylus and cantilever are the same. The difference is just coil material and output impedance. Sorry, my mistake. It's Denon 103D that comes with more refined elliptical stylus tip. Personally i would avoid any cartridge with c...
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? You have to try 100k then, 47k vs 60k is not the big difference, i've never tried lowed than 47k yet.
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? Luckily with my phono stage i can easily chose whatever load i want with MM or MC, but right now my experience is opposite than yours, we will see later when i'll be able to check more MM cartridges.
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? @halcro maybe you’re right, but i don’t have this tests for all my MM cartridges. In fact i don’t have any cartridge that sounds better (imo) at 47kohm. Do you have some?Next month i will get my Radian 850 tweeters with Clarity Caps from Zu Audio ...
Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC? Dear all, I have individual quality control test (prints) that comes with my NOS JVC Victor X-1II cartridge. I think this factory test illustrate very well how different loading works with MM cartridges. CLICK HERE for image. Started off with 47... |
