Paul Klipsch was right - What the world needs is a good 5 watt amplifier 100 dBs SPL is painfully loud. I never listen to those levels as well. The video is just a demonstration and it lasts no more than a minute. The room is 34 square meters and the microphone is placed at 2m distance from each speaker.
Paul Klipsch was right - What the world needs is a good 5 watt amplifier The music playback in the video didn’t sound too great, even considering it’s compressed Youtube footage @divertiti The video is recorded with my 70$ smartphone (huawei). Don’t you think Wilson Chronosonic driven by D’Agoustino Monoblocks will ...
Paul Klipsch was right - What the world needs is a good 5 watt amplifier @jasonbourne52 The Topping PA5 ($349) is more powerful than the Pass amp and has lower distortion. Why pay 10X the money for the Pass? I've great appreciation for topping devices and with great respect I think the PA5 wouldn't be able to dr...
Paul Klipsch was right - What the world needs is a good 5 watt amplifier @noske I really don't understand your question

Primare I35 vs Naim Supernait 3 @arafiq Why would you? :D
Primare I35 vs Naim Supernait 3 sound is smooth but 'grey-er', less lively/brilliant Hm that's pretty strange opinion. According to many reviewers the soundstage is very strong attribute of the new Primare's line ...

Dynaudio Contour 30i or Sonus Faber Olympica II @daros71 Sorry, i didn't meant to offend you. I just wanted to say, you can't make a rule from an exception. If new dynaudio series doesn't sound right to you doesn't mean that the speakers have flaw in their design. Dynaudio is exceptional compan...
Dynaudio Contour 30i or Sonus Faber Olympica II @daros71 Sorry, but i think you are bullshi*ting. The Contour 20 have been reviewed by stereophile (https://www.stereophile.com/content/dynaudio-contour-20-loudspeaker) and John Atkison was impressed with the measurements. No flaws were detected,...
McIntosh MA252 or Pathos Classic One mkIII In case the OP is still in doubt which amp. Today I auditioned the pathos vs MA252 head to head driving Sonus Faber Olympica 2. The MA252 is more muscular amp having better attack, dynamics, decay, grunt and slightly better timbral accuracy. On th...
High end high quality int. amp for low level listening It would be interesting of the OP has access for demo’ing some amps.Sadly I don't have a chance. Here we have one official McIntosh distributor and none of the other brands can be found on stock. However, yesterday I was going to audition McIntos...
High end high quality int. amp for low level listening I see that this thread has become a hot topic, and I'm happy for that. However I can also see that many people misinterpret my question or maybe I wasn't clear enough. I never said that i was missing bass or highs at 60dBs SPL. My question was: W...
High end high quality int. amp for low level listening @holmz Thank you for your wise words. You remind me of person called 'jan.vigne'. He was a very knowledgeable hones and rational person active on stereophile and ecoustics forums (but sadly not here).
