Accuphase dac 60 @duketbrd88 Thing with sources is that you need as much voltage is needed for your amp feeding your speakers in your room listening with your ears. Regarding volume pot setting - you got it all wrong I'm happiest when pot is near max. Don't get...
Best High Current amplifiers stable into low impedances From the user manual of the Pass Labs INT-25 integrated amplifier: The amplifier is stable into any load which does not dip below 0.5 ohms, but it will protect itself by shutting off any channel which outputs more than 10 amps (200 watts peak in...
Recommendation for low to normal level listening a 13.5' x 21' x 8' room 3rd for Sonus Faber. Relaxed presentation, very musical, amazing at low volume as well.
Bowers and Wilkins, 801 D4 My first choice would be Sonus faber Il Cremonese
A rookie with 10K, seeking advise If I were you, the first place to look would be here https://simaudio.com/en/product/ace-voice-22/
Kanta No.1 vs Olympica Nova 1? My choice would be the old Olympica IIs. I find the older model to be closer to the old Franco Serblin sound having very relaxed presentation but still very detailed open with impressive clarity. New Olympica series are brighter and more analytica...
Sideways move? I would suggest you if you have a chance demo the Pass Labs INT-25 with your speakers. Its very transparent, smooth as tube, more than you ll ever need power and it have insane control of the woofers. Just my 2 cents
Need an integrated amp that sounds engaging at lower volume I have sounus faber paired with pass labs INT-25. They sound fabulous, full body even below 60dBs SPL.
Current Pass integrateds? I have the INT-25. Smooth, transparent, open would be my description
Help me spend $6000 Very good choice! It would be great if you can share you experience with the Martens. I've also considered Marten Oscan Duos for my INT-25, but as I was not able to audition them, I choose Sonus Faber Olympica II instead.
Help me spend $6000 @jeffseight The INT 25 means you should find 8ohm speakers How did you conclude this, when accordingnto the user manual the amp is stable down to 1 ohm. It can deliver 200wpc per channel @1ohm before the protection circuit activates
Joseph Audio Pulsar2 vs dynaudio confidence 20 vs tad-me1 TADs are step above in both build quality and sound reproduction compared to the both speakers. Don't 100% relay here on what the folks have to say. Some will give you sincere experience but some will claim what they have is best of the best altho...

Speakers known for great midrange. I personally own INT-25 paired with Sonus Faber Olympica 2. I'm very pleased with the music filling my room. I would characterize the sound as lush, inviting, engaging, very transparent, relaxed, airy. I prefer the original Olympica series as the...
