Topping Dacs D-50, DX-7, and DX7s
I ordered one of the D50’s from Amazon. I’ll use an external 5V-1A (20,000mAh capacity) battery power cell as the power source I have around the house. Should be interesting.
If you still spin CD's their is a reference level Transport for reasonable money
I had a Counterpoint DAC that I traded in for my then-new Theta DSPro Basic IIIa DAC. I believe it was also a R2R design. One nice feature about that Counterpoint design was that one could swap out DSP chips to change the flavor of the analog sect...

I’ve only used the Theta Digital DSPro Basic IIIA as a DAC. It’s potential is greatly affected by whatever transport feeds it. My original CAL Delta Transport (having a <50 psec jitter output) sounded great with it. My Sonic Frontiers Ultra Jit...

Has anyone tried these stunning new CPT power cord?
OCD HiFi Guy has a set of videos about how to avoid daisy-chain wiring receptacle outlets on a power strip. I suspect a similar approach can be adapted to a conditioner. The first one below provides the intro. The second one provides details of th...

It’s likely that the sorts of post-market mods Ozzy did for his CPT 1800 would have similar benefits on other conditioners. But those Furutech GTX Nano outlets are quite expensive.
