The best plug in filter ever! Many people would be happy with these in their system. I just received mine last night. Mark has been a customer service champ, explaining the whole DHL snafu. I need to compare these two Purons with my QSA Silver plug-in, but it is definitely...
The best plug in filter ever! Put my order in, waiting for Mark to ship. Anyone using this with QSA power adapters? Also, anyone have experience using their other product, Fuse Box?
Zavfino Still confused on this directional setup with what’s on the bananas for my Nova OCC cables…everything seems to be facing the same way. How about arrows next time :)
Integrated amp recommendation Brio is great. I actually like the IO more-it’s slightly more even handed than the Brio. Another amp I picked up was the Cambridge axa35. This one is also excellent and a steal at the price.
New Synergistic Master Fuse I had Purple for a while in my integrated and DAC. It was interesting, but I ended up preferring the sound with it removed eventually; too much bloom and mid-bass emphasis. I could see these working for less musical systems though. I think this i...
Any Experience with Audio Envy SP12? The SP12s have continued to impress. Very even, some warmth, but overall this is an extremely neutral cable that competes with many other giant killers up to 5x the price that I’ve heard. Many people would be happy with this cable in their system.
New MOFI speaker (Andrew Jones) I thought they were bright at first when I heard them, but then realized they just told what was on the source when Jones played the female vocal track during his demo; very smooth but revealing. These can’t possibly live up to the expectations pl...
Power cords: Anticable vs Mad Scientist Have anticables level 3, it’s very apparent when you add to your pre/integrated. Source was also positive. Really rids noise. Have Mad Scientist speaker cables. They’re excellent, definitely above copper anticables. I think you honestly can’t go w...
QSA Power Jitter Power Conditioner, anyone tried it? I used 3 of the yellows, but noticed just one had enough effect. What’s interesting about these is that I can more easily switch in and out vs. the fuses. I ended up removing these from my system. They accentuated the highs at the expense of mid...
Peachtree GaN 1 Beta @mbmi the beta test is over, it’s 2k on the site. @ricevs do you have one of these amps? What system has it replaced for you?
Peachtree GaN 1 Beta Is the Gan 1 the only class D amp that uses zero negative feedback or the only one that simplifies the chain, eliminating the need for all these separate components? @ricevs I’ve gotten caught up in this now…I remember canceling my order to trial...
Dust Settled Consensus- is the Benchmark AHB2 an Audiophile Amplifier? @ricevs is there a class D technology advancement thread; I think I’ve read this before on how GanFET is only one of the first major advancements in upcoming class D. I do want to try this new Peachtree amp and see how disruptive this product tru...
REVIEW: Silversmith Fidelium Speaker Cables @zufan how are you liking them. I’m gonna end up buying another pair for my second system. I’m sure there’s better out there, but I don’t want to pay to find out.
New! Cerious Technologies Lumniscate cables @rgrost great info on these new cables, so think you mentioned that there’s a lighter version for stand mounts, because the first thing I thought was a pair of these taking my speakers clear off their stands unless the were screwed in
New! Cerious Technologies Lumniscate cables @lak I only see it on my laptop, not on mobile. It’s a blue bar with links across the home page |
