Thanks for your posts...Would an older Shure 97 or V15 type of cartridge be compatible with an Ittok ?The reason I am asking is, the MC cartridges which are recommended to be used with an Ittok are so expensive.....

I understand BOTH formats have their strengths and weaknesses.  That was not the purpose of the discussion.  Maybe I miswrote the headline.It was meant to be read by people who CLAIM that vinyl is ALWAYS better then digital.  And to that, I say NO...

And to all vinylistas, who highlight the "shortcomings" of sampling, do you think that the small groove of a record is large enough to be able to store all frequencies from 20 - 20 khz, not to mention the relative intensities, ie the dynamic range...

I also actually LIKE listening to vinyl too but NOT becoz it sounds better but becoz it LOOKS better when a big nice platter steadily turns and produces music.  And I admit that.....

I grew up with JBL Century L100s and I am very close to getting either JBL S3900 or JBL S4700.They are not talked of much in these threads but I have a thing for JBLs :-)

Thanks for all your recommendations.  There seems to be many choices.  I have to listen to them all.The ONLY concern with Pass I have is the furnace effect.  But I guess class A has its cost......
