| Is there any DVD not CD transport Yes. Theta DaVid and Carmen are transports. I have a DaVid and it is very good on cd's. Much better than the Data Basic 2 that I compaired against.Both are much better than the sony DVD player I was using. | |

| looking for a dvd transport The Theta DaViD is very good as a cd transport. I use one with a proceed AVP. Replaced a Data basic 2, simplified my system and have better sound. Can be had at or near your price range. |
