Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables I’m interested in testing the Graphene speaker cables. I’m also interested in the the Duelund DCA16GA or DCA12GA. Which one should I try first? How about Graphene speaker cables made with Duelund wire?
Duelund cast Pio Hybrid Copper/Silver or Rs series with Silver Bypass PIO The magic of the Cast caps is undoubtedly in the oil. I’ve used 600v Duelund Cast caps in an amp and I know the beautiful sound they convey until the oil leaks. Oil leaks is one issue. What about the shelf life of the oil? Does oil degrade over ti...
A vote for the little guy suppliers I've found that most companies in the audio scene provide excellent customer service. They can customize, modify, and/or create products to their customer's specifications. There are so many great businesses that have been listed. I would like to ...
Computer PS Upgrade (Fuse/IEC/Teflon Cap) @jim204 Are the RFI clamps actually called ferrite chokes? Please confirm because that is an easy and inexpensive "trick" to improve PC audio. I'm might have to test that soon.
Computer PS Upgrade (Fuse/IEC/Teflon Cap) I recently purchased a new computer and performed the basic fuse mod where I installed a copper alloy fuse block and the new SR Blue fuse. This was definitely an upgrade. Background noise has dropped, images are slightly more 3D, and improved imag...
MHDT Pagoda, anybody has listened to it? Everything improves: from the sound stage/imaging to tonality. I recommend the use of a pair of 1uf Jupiter HT caps for the output coupling caps. I am currently using a pair of 1uf Sonicap Platinum Teflon caps. Both pairs of caps are great.
MHDT Pagoda, anybody has listened to it? I replaced a Maverick Audio D2 with a Pagoda because the Pagoda provides more modification options. However, I highly recommend the D2 DAC because it provides a fun 3D soundstage at a good price specially when you upgrade the output coupling caps....
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil @erik_squires I contemplated about complaining to PartsConnexion and ask for Path Audio resistors that measure within the advertised 1% tolerance. I decided to keep the resistors just to "see" how the speakers sound with resistors at .5 ohm over s...
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil Tony Gee at Humble Home Made Hifi stated that the higher voltage Jupiter caps sound slightly more spacious in direct comparison to each other. I might get the 600v cap to have the ability to move the caps from speakers to electronics. I'll hold of...
Capacitor log Mundorf Silver in Oil Does anyone know if there's a sonic difference between the 100v and the 600v Jupiter copper foil caps?
Computer PS Upgrade (Fuse/IEC/Teflon Cap) Thank you fellas for the suggestions. I might try the Fidelizer software and SR ECT. I would like to give a suggestion to other DIY hobbyists to look into using tin or silver plated beryllium copper fuse clips from Littlefuse or Eaton Bussman as s...
Computer PS Upgrade (Fuse/IEC/Teflon Cap) I expected to hate the sound of the rhodium IEC but I'm surprised that the tonality didn't change. It's possible that this project provided only 1 improvement which is the black background. The sound stage focus, improved 3D imaging, more detail,...

Computer PS Upgrade (Fuse/IEC/Teflon Cap) The reason why is because the SR Black fuse is an impressive product that improved the sound stage and imaging each time that I added one to my set up. My set up currently uses one in the DAC and two in the amp and it will soon have one in the pow...
Graphene spray and ... SR and Magico are investing R&D into graphene because it may have a solid future in our hobby. Graphene fuses provided a tremendous improvement in my system. I'm sure the graphene speakers sound great as well. It's only of matter of time unt... |
