This one is sure to work and is cheap cheap cheap!! Put one of those high end fuses in it, cost maybe $45. Everyone has their preference as to which brand works best of course, but bottom line, can't lose for the money!!

Hmmmm, well, I had a 336 amplifier, and it was definately built in. The transport was not, and the DAC was not, and the Preamps were not, but the AMP was......
Stealth Indra vs Stealth Sakra
Sakra update: At around the 110 hour mark the shrillness that was hinted at, was gone. There was however briefly, a bass note that didn't seem to know if it was bass or midrange frequency........a strange anomoly that is difficult to describe. At 2...
Is Stealth Sakra IC is really better than Indra?
Quick update on the Sakra Break-in. I was at around the 450 hour mark this week and sat down for a long night of listening. There was quite a jump from the 250 hour mark. I was hearing a much wider sound stage than with the Indra, alot more detail...

Well the 500 hour thing is good news Kops! I had heard another fellow say that it really comes together around 1000 hours, but if you noticed 500 and above, then I'm close! I can understand your position on the used thing, there are some really go...
Is Stealth Sakra IC is really better than Indra?
Hmmm, well I have a Sakra, as well as the Indra. The Sakra I have had for a couple of months now, about 400 hours break-in time on it! I have had a number of listening sessions with it, the last one at about 250 hours. I plan to have another liste...
Stealth Indra vs Stealth Sakra
I also am running Sakra and Indra. The Sakra on source to pre and Indra on Pre to amps. I concur with all the above statements: essentially, Sakra right out of the box to me, had more body and better bass, seemed more fleshy if that's a word!! I i...
Good upgrade from Levinson 33H's
Yeah, I hear you loud and clear French Fries......I have no issue keeping them, the fact that I don't know how they compare to the "new and improved" stuff peaks my curiosity! I'm sure I would have to spend tons to get a serious upgrade. I do love...
tube preamp and bass mgmt
Don't have a pre with bass management, but do have speakers with bass management, Genesis, and don't know if i could get along without it now!!

Universal player CD/DVD with XLR analog outputs ?
There is one up for auction right now! A Faroudja DVP4000. I bought one of these this year. It's a $15000 unit and they go for around $2000 used. I love it. IMHO it plays CD better than my EMM Labs, and DVD better than my Meridian G98.......by a l...
