Vandersteen 5/Quatro Owners...
Power cords for 5A. I have those speakers and when I asked Richard, he said they all change the sound, but that the originals that come with the unit are the ones to use. I am happy with them - tried others, but Richard's right.

Rega P25 question
That is correct. I had a Grado Sonata in my Rega 25, and it did hum though slightly. It was kind of acceptable, but I couldn't really turn it up louder. I installed a Benz Ebony High Output and WOW - much better 
Auto lift for VPI Scout?

Tonearm advice for a Spacedeck and Benz Ebony LP
I'm using the Benz Ebony in a VPI Signature (Valhalla) tonearm and am very pleased. ...just as an aside....every time I got rid of a Cardas product, the sound improved. 
VPI table owners, help please.
Your Ayre is a balanced design and will always sound better balanced - so wire your turntable balanced, and get a pair of Anti-Cable balanced interconnects for 200 dollars. Cardas is THE WORST in spite of the Ayre recommendations with Cardas. Audi... 
VPI arm damping
I suggest you contact the cartridge manufacturer/importer. They know the best answer..it depends on the mass of the cartridge, arm, the damping of the cantilever, etc. Try a little damping and listen - if you don't like it, you can always go back.
