Distributed Bass Array configuration
After a 10 minute read I believed the hype of the DBA and purchased four of the 10''Morrel titaniums and two sa-1000 amps, only needed one amp I found out later. Built some plywood boxes and these things have transformed my system into something I...
Synergistic ECTs
I've taken the fuse out of my rp-7 to see what it is and want a purple fuse but I'll be damned I can't make out what it's values are!  How do know what's in there?
Problem with Bryston 4B SST.
I never said the cost of shipping had anything to do with Bryston, Bryston didn't charge me anything and sent the one amp back saying there is nothing we can do, (left the shuttering problem alone) They made sure they were both up to spec though  ...
Problem with Bryston 4B SST.
I sent both amps in to Bryston, one had a loose connection according to them. They Tightened it up and the other one has the slight vibration on the starting circuit and they said we can't do anything about that!  The note says it shutters! Cost m...

I'm a relative newbie to both forum and audio in general and his post I always enjoyed, very sad day it is. RIP
So much music that we never hear!
Frankly  I've been p$&## off  and mad at the world of the all the music  we don't get to hear on a fm station and it's  never been played such as I just discovered Doc Watson and last year it was Tommy Emanuel, I know now where Tommy was parti...
Would you sell for cash?
Sell the amp man, count your cash and be on your way. Be thankful he doesn't want to verify that it even works. How could he at a bank or you could just meet up at a store?
Rogue audio RP-7 versus PS Audio BHK preamplifier
I purchased a used rogue RP7 from high end audio auction. It's in immaculate condition only one problem, I  can't stand it, it's bad really bad. It's got the stock JJ tubes and Hopefully replacing them will do the trick. I ordered some Brimars and...
Wood for a rack
I used 2" thick soft maple, some of its tiger,  built mine in the fashion of a Timber nation rack. Just yesterday I brought 5 red oak logs (3 of them 32" diameter)to a Sawyer. I'm having it quarter sawn 2" thick and will have a new rack in a year ...
Crazy Good Vinyl recording fidelity on COMMAND label
Command records huh. I never knew about them till recently a lady gave  me five of Doc's recordings of which any of them I don't believe has ever been played. Absolutely the best stuff I have. And also one of Tony Mottola. I wish The buddy Rich al...
And Tom T. Hall makes 3 :-(

Innuos: A Cautionary Tale.
I bought a  pair of Bryston mono blocks from a local guy who purchased them used from a dealer several years ago.  I had problems with both of them during the summer.   Bryston didn't ask  any questions at all, (other than whats wrong with them) a...
If I could afford, I’d purchase 100% Oswald Mills Audio gear
The more I read the more I like. The prototypes platter looks nicer to me with the greenish lights rather than what appears to be  orange dots on the finished plinth.  The caged style Tone arm almost has to be built like that to favor the plinth! ...
Should I trust movers with my equipment?
You want to make sure you don't get the same movers a neighbor of mine  had, they hauled her stuff alright, then held it for ransom offsite, and she had to pay a lot of money to get it back. They said that the estimate she was given was wrong and ...
