My Apologies to Miller Carbon
I can just imagine the mc haters beside themselves over a thread about mc! With folks saying nice things? And someone had to bring up politics
My Apologies to Miller Carbon
Miller carbon has helped me out more than once, I follow his advice too when applicable.
Problem with Bryston 4B SST.
Man one of my 7b sst2 smelled like an electrical fire. The lights inside where flashing red, normally there green.  I had to reset it. Once back on the front light went green and red maybe orange I don't remember. The top was warmer than the other...
Townshend Seismic Podiums
Are there people who are still using spikes under speakers? When I first got into the hobby not long ago one of the first things I did was to purchase  isoacoustic footers, two speaker sets and two hockey puck sets for TT. Now I have two seismic p...
Buying used: how old is too old?
A guy just bought a pair of Infinity Delta Gamma's for 150 bucks, he's posted on audiokarma. How's that for a deal!
How do I connect my Bricasti M21 DAC to my MAC Computer using the Network (Ethernet)
I've installed audirvana on me Mac Pro and can't figure out what to do with it? Can't interface. Can't seem to even spell it correctly without looking at how it's spelled.
JVC TT 71: buy now for spare for my or TT81?
I must say that I sold a tt-101 and the buyer was shocked to find the platter was lighter on the 101 versus a tt-81 that I also have. We didn't actually weigh the two but it sure did feel like it. Wouldn't the model with the heavier platter be bes...
New Bluesound Node – First Impressions
The use features are fine using the Mac and streaming Tidal hi-fi. The mhtd Pagoda is the key in my system. you say a reclocker or galvanic isolation, I'll do some research. Thanks.
New Bluesound Node – First Impressions
I use a Mac book pro wireless and usb to a pagoda balanced, will a node 2I deliver more than the Mac? I would of course use a wired Ethernet with it!  also nice cables and power cord!
Rhodium vs Gold AC connectors
the mention of the cheap metals in the IEC's of our gear matches the cheap  binding post and rca's and other items builders use to save on cost. Passlabs use Furutech binding post which is a good marketing  point for me, frankly I'd like to see al...
Help selecting a power cord.
I purchased a Furman it 20 I and diy five cords TOTL furutech rhodium and Furutech wall outlet, grounding plate and cover. Both amps plugged into the Furutech outlet on a dedicated circuit. Front end is on another outlet in use with the it 20 I, I...
What happened here?
rust on a rhodium plug is a bad thing. Surely it didn't get wet!
Is anyone in the US making power cables like this custom PC cable ad on the Canadian Mart?
I made five power cables using furutech parts, Idk what they use for wire in there expensive pc's themselves?  The first cable took about 3 hours to build, the last two for my amps  took less than half the time combined. I used there spades and co...
Speaker cables under 1k used
I have a $450 pair of fake AQ wel reference 5' full range with Bochinno spades. They have 8 conductors per leg. The neg has 4 silver plated coppers and the pos has two silver plated coppers, there is a drain wire in the mix too. The middle of the ...
Custom plinth
I don't see how the roundover edge through the veneer, on top of the plinth, doesn't expose the plywood? Or is the stain hiding it? I think it's a nice job he's done and folks are still complaining in the comments. I guess that's life on the web.
