Is calibration services for DLP set worth it? I haven't done it but it is my understanding that the results can be excellent. The one thing that held me back is the fact that the $300 that you are quoted is most likely just one input with each additional input you do costing extra. When I fir...
Is it worth changing from B&W N805 to the 805S? Yes...and I would disagree with Elizabeth for two reasons, 1) there is no announcement for 805D's and 2) if B&W did come out with such a speaker, they would cost far more than the 805S's and suspect they'd be more than you are looking to spend.
Mcintosh C-2200 or Aesthetix Calypso? Congrat's on your purchases, I hope they all work out well....dont base your decision on tone control for the C2200...they are useless and dont give you any rangeI don't agree with this statement; I have never used the tone contols on a C2200 but ...
Opinions on the Mac MA 2275? I have been using the MA2275 for about a month now. This is my first setup that is all tubes; I really enjoy it and now understand why people enjoy tubes. In swapping emails with Ron Cornilius of McIntosh, he stated, "The MA2275 has a very clear so...
Spectral and B&W 802D...Need Amp Advice I had the Classe CA2200, along with the CP500 and CDP100, with my 802D's; I am not sure of your concerns with the LCD's on the Classe gear, I really liked them. I really liked the gear as well when connected to my Signature 805's, but when I went ...
Any feedback on the new B&W 802D's I have not tried the 802D or 800D connected to Ayre gear though...If your going to purchase the Ayre gear no matter what, why not try them on the 802D's?
What time do you wear? Correct, I did say that an automatic movement is not as accurate as a quartz movement, in general; the part we seem to be missing it is that you freely bash Rolex brand as not being as accurate as a Timex, here I disagree. Just like your Brietling...
What time do you wear? Snofun, the problem I have with your posts is that you donÂt hesitate to say things as fact that are more opinion. ShortonÂs point was that you are boasting of your watches quartz accuracy comparing it to an automatic. You have followed up by ma...
When will your system be enough? After just one more purchase. :)
What time do you wear? "exquisite design, fine materials, outstanding features AND virtually unmatched performance" All in the eyes of the beholder. Again, glad your happy, that's all that matters.
What time do you wear? I simply disagree Snofun. If someone is purchasing an automatic watch expecting the utmost accuracy they are misled. As for "higher performance", that can come in other forms. Most expensive watches are built very well and last for decades. Furthe...
What time do you wear? There seems to be a misunderstanding here about watches, specifically automatic watches. Many comments where people are putting down "expensive", "big name" watches because they are not as accurate as an inexpensive (quartz) watch. Due to design d...
What time do you wear? Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner. Owned it for 15 years and it has never kept time as well as a $50.00 Timex. No automatic watch will.
Nordost Cables Thanks for the reply George. The AN-V's are great cables and IMO I don't think they are causing brightness in your system, maybe revealing it. (Just my opinion.)
Nordost Cables What Audio Note IC to you have George? |
