McIntosh MCD201?
It seems I read somewhere that Mac CDP's were made by Nakamichi, is this true?
In the market for a plasma.........suggestions?
One thing is for certain Brad, you will be far more critical about TV's looking at them in store than once you have one at home. There are so many different technologies right now that it becomes near impossible to select a TV. That said, I suspect...
A mistake spending too much on amplification?
With that said, the original intent of my question was to determine whether it makes more sense to pair $5K speakers with $2.5K amplification than the other way around.Opinions will vary, mine is, yes, go for the speakers, as Bigbucks5 says.
Go DirecTV
After 10 years of Dish Network, I just switched to DirecTV. Wow, what a difference in the video output. Is it possible that your previous receiver was older and inferior to the one you now have and also compared to newer improved versions carried b...
McIntosh MA 6500
Gotcha, my bad, I went back to the top of the post which listed a 6500. In light of this oversight, I agree that "noemail" may want to experiment with the different taps.

What to look for in purchasing CD-R's for recordin
Thank you everyone for the great replies. What if I am simply making copies on my PC? I would only be making a handful of CD's so I don't want to purchase a large number of blank CD's.

DK Design Review
Gunbei, let me make something clear about the Daniels comments at the end of my "review". Two of my friends contacted him speaking kindly as they were hoping he would allow me to give the amp to them instead of sending it back to the fatory. His t...
Why do no audio enthusiasts use McIntosh?
