Sabai, please read the previous posts for information on the liquid metal conductor material and to see who has called whom a liar. Those who resort to name calling tend to have something to hide.

Sabai,Liquid metal refers to the patent-pending alloy of gallium, indium, and tin used for the conductor material which is in the liquid state at room temperature and well below. Its consistency is rather similar to liquid mercury, without the env...

Anyone wanting to know who visited the Teo Audio partner's home in the manner described above by Musicxyz and what quantity was purchased, independent of anything I have posted, can contact Teo Audio direct at the email address given on the 'about...

Musicxyz, my sources firmly indicate you are Bob, the former Canadian distributor (for a short time), and that you had just one pair of cables, and I know where those cables wound up and what they were. The puppet show is over.

I bought the TEO cables from the manufacturer in Canada. No you didn't. You bought them from Bob. And you still haven't described what you bought.I'm done. You win.

Musicxyz, I know for a fact that Glory owns the Teo Audio cables, so your suggestion that he doesn't is off base.I bought my cables directly from the manufacturer in ItalyTeo Audio has always been in Canada, and you should know that, given your re...

Any opinions on the AMR Digital Processor 777 Dac?
Cmalak: In the last paragraph of JA's comments he mentions sending a 24-bit/44.1kHz signal to the DP-777, and since 'Auto Select' was enabled it saw the 44.1 sampling rate and selected the 16-bit Classic DAC, this is why it downsampled (truncated)...

Musicxyz, if you're adventurous enough to cut one open, be prepared to throw it away and surely be frustrated that you can't figure out what they've done. Take my word for it, there's the liquid metal conductor material in small teflon tubing, var...

Yingtonggao, try J River Media Center. It costs $50 but is well worth it. The other thing you want to do is disable kmixer in XP or upgrade to Windows 7 if possible.Running JRMC on Win 7 here, optimized, into the DP-777, with superb results.

Hi Ed,Thanks for the call. I hope Frank is able to help you out. He's a great guy.Brian
Teo XLR
It is a proprietary patent pending alloy of gallium, indium, and tin. Do a web search for the trade name Galinstan, which is somewhat similar but not the same.

AMR PH-77, ARC Reference 2, Allnic H-3000, Octave
The AMR components are single ended designs internally. Although I have not compared the PH-77 using balanced vs. single ended outputs, in some systems the CD-77 can sound slightly better using the balanced outputs.

Agucela, he has had nothing but praise for the sound and the versatile settings. He was unable to audition the Ref2 despite several requests.I suggest the only way to really evaluate the performance of a statement product is to audition it in your...
