Anyone heard nordost baldur speaker cables?? I just auditioned both Red dawn and Baldur speaker and the Baldur is definitely smoother. Red Dawn was to aggressive, lacked finesse. Bass on Baldur was good too. For long-term listening it's a superior cable.
nordost baldur sc's, ic's I would want the one with the smoother presentation. Sounds like Baldur, as long as I dont give up too much bass

Linn amps vrs Bryston Linn Can handle any load, down to 2 ohms. I also find Linn more musical than Bryston (and Lighter...Brystons are cinder blocks). I used to own a Bryston and sold it, It does everything the company claims but is very analytical. You should try Linn...
anyone have experience with tube cdps' I tried a Jolida JD100 once (unmodified), long time ago, it sounded very natural...only criticism was it lacked a bit of detail. I simply assumed todays players would have improved on that. It was great on vocals. On the SS side I liked the Linn M...
anyone have experience with tube cdps' I did not find Rega laid back. In fact, the images were all quite large...as if it was trying to big-up the sound. I actually preferred the old rega Jupiter 2000 to the new apollo.
