Can I build an Linn LP-12 piece by piece?
Considering all the time and expense that would go into acquiring all the parts it might be easier to just buy a used LP12.
Anybody tried 20th Anniversary Purist cables?
Muratc I have only heard the Purist Aqueous Anniversary cables; have not heard the Purist Anniversary as they are way too expensive for me. I'm sure Albert Porter will comment on the Purist Anniversary cables; I believe he has them in his system. ...
Miss your audio when traveling?
Eventhough I get to hear a lot of different systems at dealers and friend's homes when I travel I still miss my own a lot.
Which Power Amp to buy
McCormack with the Stratos running a close second.
Anybody tried 20th Anniversary Purist cables?
Yes and I love them; the interconnects are especially good.

My Purist Venustas does a great job bringing out the bass.

How do you bias the 6922 tubes in ARC VT 200? HELP
Gmorris you're right; I've only had the Audio Research D-76 and 76A, also the Conrad Johnson MV75, and a few others that I can't even remember.
Quietest amp you ever owned ?
Elevick I'll have to try to pick up one of those 80s.
How do you bias the 6922 tubes in ARC VT 200? HELP
Wow, this is the first amp I've ever encountered then where even the smaller tubes needed to be biased. I would call Audio Research. Good luck.
How do you bias the 6922 tubes in ARC VT 200? HELP
Have you spoken with anyone at Audio Research? I am pretty sure there is no bias adjustment for the 6922s; the 6550 output tubes are probably the only tubes that need to be biased.
Any arm/cartridge ideas?
The Rega would probably be your best bet; $500 doesn't buy much of a tonearm these days.
DAC for $1800 or less?
The Bel Canto DAC-2.
Audio Refinement complete or Nad C370 ?
I would not consider either the Audio Refinement Complete (a very bland sounding integrated) or the NAD C370. Which ARC piece are you looking at?
