Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
Maybe it isn't the wire burning in. Could it be the connections forming a bridge?
Nakamichi Cassette Decks
Nakamichi cassette decks are magical. A techology that had matured gracefully. Engineers poured their inspiration and sweat into a medium that originally was for onky dictation into a hi-fidelity medium. However finicky with detail to maintaince i...

Do speaker cables need a burn in? Yes. If you have a good auditory memory and have listened to a song thousands of times then one can easily tell a difference. The sound is rather thin with a somewhat  narrow soundstage and some shrillness present...

Do speaker cables need a burn in period?

Equipment that has made you 'stop' looking?
Bryston 14b3. marantz SA-10. I heard some very expensive equipment last weekend and I'm happy with what I have.
What album do you play over the holidays?
Ray Conniff is my choice. His Christmas album won a Grammy and remenber hearing it in my youth. I'm 56. It just brings back memories.
