The miracle of the turntable? We take for granted so much. Turn a knob and water comes right out. Hot water! Need light? Flick a switch. Music? Just make sure its plugged in. Oh, yeh, batteries. Music, any music is portable now. We cant even imagine how easy we have it compare...

How long is too long to wait for shipping? I can very according to how far and who carries. Once in an effot to speed up a transaction I send payment USP "priority". Took twice as long as regular service. You never know. If communication is maintained, it should work out.
Anyone with kids should see this... Just say NO Many years ago my nieghbor had a bunny named Bun-Bun and we had a cat named Goober. My kids were little chaps back then. When Bun-Bun kept getting loose and showing up in our yard I knew it was only a matter of time before something ugly happened....

what's my problem? At 86 db efficiency and a 3.6 ohm minimum impedance, Im afraid you may be low on juice. The Unico is rated 80wpc for 8 ohm -and- 4 ohm. If the suggestions above dont do the trick you might need to try an amp that is really suited to difficult load...
old acurus integrated vs. separates vs. new nad I have seen some fantastic deals on Forte amps and preamps, you could have put together something great for about 5-6 hundred. Review: Marsh Sound Design A-200s Amplifier Buff, I had an A200s for some time and enjoyed it very much. Great bass control, fast and clear. The high end is very open but will reveal hot or edgy recordings. You might want to try out other preamps in your system, you may find you havent hear...

Here's why amps can be more important than speaker In the 70s Japanese manufacturers started a spec war offering amps with incredable #s. Most sounded lousy, my trusty 20wpc NAD seeing many more expensive challangers off. Specs dont mean much these days in sound or marketing. You can find plenty o...

Cement to fill speaker stands? Cement will cover with dust that is very hard to remove anything that is not protected. It tends to cloud when you pour it so be carful not to breath it as silica sand is similar to fibergass particles, very bad.
Heads up for earwax. You can get a product for this at the drugstore. Its oily but it works better than peroxide. You can put it in and plug your ear with tissue for a little while, then flush with warm water. Works very well. No Q-tip needed. |
