Audiogon Is Still Relevent...Don't Listen to the Naysayers.
I'd bet at least 70 percent of what I know of audio came directly from discussions here ... maybe 80.  Would have never come across names like Odyssey Audio, Rogue or Tekton without you guys ... or Salk!Yeah, there's some BS ya have to sift throug...
Jaw Dropping Improvement?
Good advice to listen for couple months; B sound has a lot of detractors here that are louder than adherents.  Should you then want to make a move check out audiosciencereview.com and eyeball the Gustav X16:https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum...

Amp/Preamp Recommendations
Odyssey audio: integrated or separate.  You will not be disappointed!  Ask for Klaus ....
Warm romantic & detailed
Sonus or Salk!
New speakers but old Rotel Amp
Great suggestions here, OP .... You must add Odyssey audio to your list!
Audio Research Sold
Hmm, article seemed more like a marketing piece ... and it seems like more of a ownership-restructuring than outright sale.  Also, timeline is two days ago and I can't find another published article.  Probably just me, what could happen ...?
Vincent Audio SV-500 Arriving Today
Jay73!  Any updates?  Have been eyeballing Vincent pre over last year.  Be interesting to get an updated appraisal ...  thanks!

Unknown wood on B&W 802 series 80
Hazardous guess: some type of gall wood ... less likely Rose wood variety.  Definitely need a wood-nut here.  Striking!  Let us know how they sound!
Need preamp recommendation
Might add Odyssey Audio to the list ...
