Dartzeel 108 Vaipe,Just wanted to say that I agree with Mike's accessment of the dartzeel amplifier. In addition to it's absolute world class refinement, purity, transparency and resolution, it also floats grainless 3D images in an open spacious layered sounds...
Did you hear Evolution Acoustics 2009 The Show? I'm a dealer for the Evolution Acoustics speakers simply because I've head nothing better overall for any price. I personally own the MM2's. I was very curious how their new smaller footprint mini 2's compared to their big brothers. They were set ...
Anyone hear the 3-LP set from Thorens I have the set. Pressing and recordings are excellent and the music is super. Highly recommended.
Replace au24 speaker cable??? I'm a dealer for Evolution Acoustics and Dartzeel. I'm running the same components. I'm using the Evolution Acoustics double run speaker cables. They were far superior to my previous reference cables which were pretty spectacular. I was over a cus...
Integrated amp for efficient speakers Samzx12I'm not familiar with the 60T. It looks to be a 50T with a different tube compliment. You can e-mail me directly if you have any other questions.
Integrated amp for efficient speakers Samzx12The 50T is the warmest sounding. The 70T is a bit more open (more spacious stage), transparent and dynamic.
Integrated amp for efficient speakers I'm a dealer for Cayin. The 50T, 70T and 100T are very easy to bias. It is all done from the top of the chassis (no need to go into the circuit like the 88T). They do not sound cool and thin. They are also not overly rich. They are very musical wi...
Transfiguration Temper Supreme cartridge loading There should be no problem going up on the volume control as long as you do not have noise issues and you have ample dynamics. If so, then I suggest going with 10 ohms.
grills on or off on evolution acoustic speakers? Like almost all speakers, my MM2's sound best with the grills removed (more open and transparent). I simply remove the grills prior to listening. I always keep the grills off the ceramic mids since they are protected with their integrated grill.
Steelhead as a preamp? Rloggie, I only tried running the Steelhead direct (fixed output) using a BAT 51SE line stage. The sound was much better when I ran the Steelhead without the BAT but I had to use the variable output.
Steelhead as a preamp? I agree with Cohnaudio. I used to own the Steelhead. While using the XV-1S, it sounded much more transparent when you did NOT go through the transformers.
Relative newbie with tt questions Very nice classic arm, but I also remember that Syrinx had bearing issues. However, if the bearings are not loose and the arm does not freeze up while playing an LP, I would not be concerned. I also owned the Grado MCZ very many years ago. It was ...
Dartzeel or Mark Levinson 33H I brought the dartzeel amp to my customer to do a direct comparison with his 33H. His system at the time was the Levinson 33H, 32, EMM CDSA, Sonus Stradivari. The Dartzeel was superior in every way (far more natural, better focus, depth layering, ...
Anyone experienced with Sound Guard? My friend used it many years ago. It gunked up his stylus and had no sonic benefit.
synergy between preamp - amplifier: dartzeel Charliexu - I have made the upgrade to several units. It updates the functionality of the pre-amp regarding battery / AC mode as well as the various status modes indicated by the center light. The issue was with the batteries retaining their charg... |
