Opinions on Meitner MTR-101 Amps??? Well, both amps work and they make a good difference in how the Snell's sound. On a side note the heat sink rods do get a bit warm.

Snell Type A Agreed. I plan on having the woofers re foamed at an electronics shop in New Orleans. I’m hoping the can also replace the grill cloth on the top part.

Which Snell Type A do I have? A-I or A-Original? What is the white dope that is on the back of the woofer frame where it attaches to the wood? I have my woofers out to get the foam replaced and noticed the white stuff, kinda like plumbers putty. By the way, how do I know if the spider needs to ...
Snell Type A Agreed. I know Snell recommends against it.
Snell Type A I don't think I can remove staples before I get the enclosure off.
Snell Type A Well I took the bottom wood off and discovered the woofer foam is broken apart.
Snell Type A I wonder if somebody has written directions From Snell for that task?
Snell Type A Well, I got them, hooked them up and they sound terrific. I’m wondering how to take the speaker grill off and see what it’s gonna take to replace the fabric on the top section. Gonna look around Baton Rouge / New Orleans to see if a shop can tun...
Snell Type A I think mine is the 10 inch woofers. You have some good ideas, thank you. |
