A/C Mains. Solid or Twisted
Thanks DeKay,Solid 10/2 it is. Pass the 60hz, not the RF.  Will have the camera ready when the electrician tries to fold it into the outlet box. Probably best to do with open wall access and double metal duplex box with a single duplex adapter. Ot...

Help with new home
+1 elevick. Been there done that. New location advised, no bad memories allowed at 65. Windows, inserts by Larson or Indowindow will help. Bass issues and neighbors, mass loaded vinyl , 2 layers of 5/8 sheetrock, relatively inexpensive, green glue...
On the long wall or short wall- Speaker set-up
To all, perfect advice, thank you. My intention was to allow the architect to design a couple of windows and the electrician to place the dedicated circuits in advance. I have to go before the town board for a variance that I will most assuredly r...
Pure Audio Project Quintet
Also breaking in Quintet 15’s, Voxativ 1.6’s with Leonidas XO. With the Pass PAP C1, I imagine the best one to ask is Ze’ev.

Cable septic
mmporsche,Nice system, going Voxativ myself with PAP. With that investment, you could purchase a Decware Zen switch box for $359 and use it as an A-B switch to change cables on the fly. It’s clearly shown on the website. Then listen for yourself a...
Any tweaks I'm missing?

New York City Audio Show 2019
PAP, for me, no contest. Wall of sound, No room treatments, need only 5-10 watts,  could follow every note. For the first time I didn’t want to leave as it was just the music, not the equipment. That said it all for me.
$1300-1500 DAC
Andrew,Dont discount the Lotus5 Dac, bested my Prism Orpheus, no slouch. Also can double as a pre. Check tone for review.

Optical vs coax vs spdif
Would the same opinion about the signal quality of USB also apply using a Synology NAS to endpoint?
Turntable Advice?
Just went through the same exercise, almost, with the arm. Everyone recommended keeping the arm. They are correct.  No doubt, keep it. Mine was from the late 1980’s so it went back to SME and now it’s new to spec. I changed the phono cables to Ste...
