Which to keep! Pick one of these two soeakers
I have two glasses of Red Wine in front of me.  Can someone tell me which one I prefer the taste of?  Sorry, but if you have two sets of speakers in your room, and you can't tell which one you prefer, I don't understand how the opinions of others ...

Question about suitable fuse metals
This question / statement was put forward on another site.  The idea that replacing a fuse with solid metal, allowing unrestricted current which improves the sound, is based on a false premise because most transformer primary windings exhibit much...
I saw the back of an integrated and it depressed me.
You know what else I miss from those old integrated units?  Those fine speaker connectors.  You know the ones.  You just pushed down on the plastic clip and fed the lamp cord into the hole. 😭   Time waits for no man.......
One key to building great systems over time.
@ghdprentice  You're never a prophet in your home town.  🤣
Share the songs that move you (from musicals).
@1111art   Your post is bringing back some good memories for me.  Back in the 1950's my father (an electrical engineer) built a system that was the envy of all the neighbours.  A Dynaco Mark ll DYI kit, three Warfdale speakers, a TT with stobe and...
Question about suitable fuse metals
These are not my words, but they ring true to me: "An AC line fuse on the primary side of the power transformer is not going to make any audible difference, since the AC will be stepped down, rectified and smoothed into DC, then regulated before ...
Really Long XLR
@zlone  The back side of my amps are 7 inches off the wall and the Statement cables make a natural loop to the side without any stress on the cable.  I would say that is close to the minimum distance you want to work with.  Cheers.
Question about suitable fuse metals
Listening late at night always sounds better.   But the fuse was the cause?  Color me skeptical.
Question about suitable fuse metals
@jasonbourne71 I suppose next you're going to tell me not to put nickles behind blown fuses in my main panel?  😂
MoFi lawsuit
Were any of you unhappy with the sound of your MoFi product before you learned  "the truth".  @dwette if your purchased so many I'm guessing the answer is no?  I've only bought 4 titles from them over the years.  I didn't buy more for the simple r...
Leave system on or power everything down?
@soix  You are correct Sir.  🤣 Cheers.
Intg Amps: Hegel 590 vs NAD M33 Masters vs Gryphon Diablo 120
@tvrgeek I'm not sure what your budget would be but the H590 can be had slightly used at very good prices.  As an example: https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649990562-hegel-h590/ I purchased the H590 from an original owner a few years back.  Y...
Leave system on or power everything down?
@soix  Not to diminish or question your experience.  I'm sure Steve McCormack knows a lot.  But other manufacturers hold the exact opposite opinion and suggest turning equipment off when not in use.  Again, we are talking about on/off once per day...
Leave system on or power everything down?
@kingbr Was just hoping to get a consensus here rather than making 4 calls.  Consensus?  This is Audiogon 🤣  Last thought.  We are talking about turning your equipment on/off once per day, not many times.  In that case, heat will do more dsmsge to...
