180g … It’s All Hype !
I've bought quite a few white label promos and they are often quite good if they haven't been abused.  Getting harder to find, especially at a reasonable price.

I assume that most of the posters on that site have never heard a high-end DAC and are fearful they will get "taken" if they buy one.  All based on the "knowledge" of all the other sheep who have also never heard a high-end DAC, but insist that th...
Vintage Tuner-Only wonderful because it's the SOUND I grew up with?.....
I have a couple of nice FM tuners - Onkyo T9090 II and Magnum Dynalab Etude.  With a decent roof antenna the news / jazz station about 50 miles away sounds quite special.  I listen all day while working.

Dokken - Breaking the Chains. 80's hair metal!
After years of separates, I'm going integrated. Anyone else do the same?
Separates in main system, integrated amps in a couple of other systems. Horses for courses. Saying one way or the other is "better" as a blanket statement is like saying 150 gram vinyl is better than 180 gram vinyl, or vice versa.

Dominique Fils-Aimé - Nameless. Really well recorded and produced, vinyl sounds like crap. This one is better streamed.

Very cool story bdp24. I saw Dave Mason at a small local venue 3 or 4 years ago. He was very entertaining. I have a few etched records like you described.

@bdp24  I actually like some of the colored vinyl. It often doesn't sound as good as black, but it is kind of cool and fun to watch on the turntable. Some of the more limited versions like some of the RSD releases can go up in value pretty quickly...

I really like that one too Steve!
