Suggestions on Ethernet cables for Accuphase digital separates..
@garebear the purpose the cable will serve in your setup is an interface between an SACD transport and a DAC. 1. It’s most likely a really short run. 2. You don’t have to deal with garbage associated with routers, switches and the wall wart power ...

They do! And it’s very good and not very expensive.
Streamer/DAC combinations
Mine’s just a DAC. I got it from TMR.  The PS Audio bridge doesn’t have a good rep. I wouldn’t bother with it.

@moonwatcher and @soix  I never auditioned any iteration of the Denafrips Pontus, but I had several decent DACs in my system. I just sold Bricasti M3 and am trying to figure out my next move. Meanwhile, since I was always curious about the PS Aud...

@garebear cat 7 or cat 8 doesn’t matter. RJ45 connections are standard. What matters is they don’t all sound the same and even if someone with the exact same components gives you a recommendation it will not guarantee your results with the same ca...
Ethernet cables
@garrettc Shielding can help reduce RMI interference. The wires themselves are twisted pairs to reduce interference. True for “copper” Ethernet cables, false for fiber optic. There are streamers made today that accept this type of connection ...
power cord for pass 250.8
Not if you have your speakers 25ft apart and one if em is jammed into a corner with a ginormous sectional in front of it. A stock power cord will do just fine.
Ethernet cables
@lugsytl47 I call 🐂 💩 unless you conducted controlled blind testing, I don’t believe you. I suggest sending your fridge to Amir at ASR to see if his measurements confirm your confirmation bias induced findings.
Breaking news! Jays Audio is moving to Texas and takes interest in McIntosh
@emergingsoul find something better to do. Who gives a 💩
