Why so many B & W Speakers on the used market?
They sell a bunch of speakers. I think they also tend to have a "house" sound which over time and exposure to other speakers can become tiring.
Leave it on?
It works is not the same as it works well. Do any of you read? Or do you just read "approved" texts?
Harbeth 40.3 XDs
To my ears a very pleasant and very colored speaker. The smaller the model the better they sound, simply due to reduction in the size of the very resonant cabinet. I would not buy without listening at length. If you like a more neutral sound stay ...
Leave it on?
I have done plenty of research on the subject. Fact is renewables are in place despite the fact that the best solution has been available throughout this whole mess. Check out all the important facts about efficiency and cleanliness and get back t...

I turn everything off the second I stop listening. And thanks guys for using this an opportunity to lecture us on climate change.  Again lets talk about nuclear and not the other other underperforming solutions.

So, “Audio Science Review” really doesn’t like this video
I dont think that ASR is really about having discussions. They simply dont want to hear anything that deviates from their general beliefs. If they took a less extreme and more balanced view they might be a bit damaging to the hobby. ASR is of no c...
Preamp question - Cary Clone
Well the Cary, as is the case with many designs, is a clone of sorts of earlier designs.
Considering a New Tube Pre-amp
I owned the MP-3 for a time and was very pleased. I replaced it with a $ 12K line stage and then I also have a $ 18K phono stage which outperformed the MP-3 collectively. If you consider the quality of the phono stage the preamp is unbeatable in m...
Phono Stage - The great analog tragedy
They can exist in the same chassis, but the advantage of these being separate should be obvious.
Darko Audio: Let's End the Cost Videos
Well for me it is just the opposite. I have always maintained that you ability to listen is heavily influenced by the very best systems you have heard. The more exceptional systems, the higher your level of awareness. Yes you are correct about the...

Free Canadian Air?  Actually in this hobby, a younger age is not a plus. For those of you that have been paying attention for 2 to 3 decades, how much better is your ability to listen than it was when you first started?
