Phono Stage Amp Would not call or consider a music hall 11.1 low end...it's not exactly cheap....
The new dynamic in speaker pricing Don’t care if you are rich or not, you are a certified nut to pay a million dollars for a speaker.....and even nuttier trying to justify it...nothing in audio is worth a million....
Good cassette player? A Nak bx100 can be had for cheap money on ebay, just make sure it is working. I’d send mine off to you, but it is in a state of disrepair...belts etc...all apart. Also have an Aiwa 770 and 660, both mint, I use them frequently. You haven’t heard c...
Are CD lens cleaners (disks) B.S. or effective? Never had to use one in 40 plus years.....

How do you organize all this turntable paraphernalia?? I installed a floating shelf with integral pull out drawer under my turntable wall shelf, seems to work well for all that stuff....on top of floating shelf rests my phono preamp. Unlike other formats, turntables/LP’s etc require quite a bit of ext...
Tannoy Turnberry Gr I own Tannoy Eatons, and I’d have to agree that at least to me, heavy metal and rock are not their forte...I’ve heard other speakers that play better in that regard. The tannoy is a bit laid back. I’d go for klipsch or JBL for the heavy metal. How...
Small Form-Factor CD Player/Transport The Cyrus Cdt...compact, sounds great. Yes, a bit deep dimension wise, but not very wide. A far cry from the full size audio lab it replaced. Freed up some space atop my audio credenza. Better yet, I got it brand new, $999...$300 off! I also use ...
Recommend me a Class A Integrated Amp (or sound like Class A amp) How about the Sugden A21 or A21se? The A21se was $3250, could be a bit higher thanks to inflation. 30 watts pure class A 8 ohms, 40 into 4 ohms. A wonderful amp with great reviews everywhere....sounds way more powerful than those specs suggest. Yo...
