How do you perform a burn in on a tonearm cable? Just play music. The difference between a new cable and one that is broken in, is subtle not night and day.Your mood, emotion, state of mind, health, etc. are far bigger influences from listening session to listening session.
Is it the Windex? I suspect that microscopic particles of paper are what you're hearing.Windex is basically water, isopropanol, ammomina, and blue dye I believe. Isopropanol evaporates residue free but there may a small amount of residual dye.Speak with the fellow ...
Thiel 3.6, what will drive them best? An inexpensive choice is Class D amplification.
Whats the best record cleaning fluid? Isopropanol (isopropyl alcohol) is a drying agent. It does very little vis a vis degreasing or cleaning plastic be it 91% or 99%. The surfactant in a record cleaning fluid is what loosens the contaminants from the record not the alcohol.
Graham Phantom vs Triplaner >>My ONLY concern is to actually view the arm as a NON FACTOR(sort of)!...Let it allow the cartridge to do it's thing, and be invisible(if that were only possible)! It is,in reality, only about the cartridge!<<Totally disagree.First, it i...
Graham Phantom vs Triplaner Dan_ed's remarks about the Triplanar are spot on. It is an extremely user friendly arm. Perhaps the best.My previous comments alluded primarily to build quality, fit and finish, trackability, and noise level.Thanks.

Turntable or vinylology 101 for newbies. The transducer can only do its' work if it does so unrestrained and unincumbered. So one more time, and for those who just don't get it, an average cartridge in an excellent tonearm will outperform an excellent cartridge in an average tonearm every...

AR LS 26 and Pass Labs X350.5 Compatible? I think there's sufficient end user confirmation and information from the manufacturer to resolve the OP's question and ignore the guesstimators. To correct an earlier post, all Pass Labs X.5 series amps have a balanced input rated at 22K not 20K.T...
AR LS 26 and Pass Labs X350.5 Compatible? The LS-26 output impedance (700 balanced, 300 single ended) will have no problem driving the Pass X.5 series which are 22K balanced and 11K single ended.Listen to the folks at Pass who know their products better than the guessitmators here.
Whats your "best of CES 2008" The Tiny Dancer is an incredibly overhyped speaker IMO.Comparably priced monitors such as the Harbeth 7ES-3 and SPL Timepiece Mini absolutely smoke the TD.
