It's your streamer, not your modem
cable is inherently noisy and using isolators and switches to clean it up has proven effective widely. It isn’t just the streamer’s buffering, EMI/RFI and ground level noise do corrupt signals beyond most DAC’s cleanup capabilities and reclocking ...
How important is the efficiency of a speaker to you?
@phd  At 102db efficiency may I suggest you try SETs rather than push pulls? You might be in for a big surprise. A classic 300b amp will amply drive those speakers unless they have a weird impedance pattern
How important is the efficiency of a speaker to you?
@deep_333  My comment relates to the high wattage, complex crossover+DSP school of engineering. I have yet to hear a system built that way that offers true timbre and time allignment of its various components. Flea watt amps are not a must but ma...
How important is the efficiency of a speaker to you?
Usually low efficiency means complex crossovers. The issues of cross interference, phase coherence and latency resulting from multiple transducers compaerd to a two way, ideally point source in my mind are too complex to solve. That’s why flea amp...
InnuOS Sense 2.6.0.
@bluethinker  You may experience digital clipping. Try and turn down the volume on the server and up on the dac by using the sense volume bar. Hopefully that helps.
Best USB cable upgrade for around $1000
Get two Intona reference cables and an Intona Isolator. Allternatively look into a Singxer UIP-1 in lieu of the Isolator
Experience with adding super tweeter?
The phase thing is best established by trial and error. When it locks in, that is actually quite easily audible
Experience with adding super tweeter?
I use a pair pf Muratar ES 103b with Duevel Bella Luna: provided you get millimeter precise positioning in phase with the rest of the speaker diaphragms the resulting increase in depth of soundstage and definition of the entire frequency spectrum ...
Grimm MU1 Streamer - Really "The Best"?
The best reason for combining Dac and streamer relates to only using one clock (expensive if good), one box and one set of power cables obviating the need for digital cables which are highly inconsistent and system dependent.    Conversely there ...
InnuOS Sense 2.6.0.

InnuOS Sense 2.6.0.
Good luck with the Pulse and enjoy the music
Ditch your USB cable for Toslink? Might surprise you!
The quality of toslink nowadays is a direct function of the quality of the server‘s clock since that is what governs what the DAC receives. Small hint: USB based servers don‘t pay much attention to the clocking since in USB it‘s slaved to the DAC.
Network Acoustics Muon ethernet filtering system - Improving streaming sound quality
@questforhifi  totally agree: a properly tuned Etherregen with clock and LPS and ideally with another Ocxo controlled switch in front of it has little to do with a basic Etherregen with wall wart. Also very important to use the best ethernet cabl...
Who out there wants to, or has, validated an amazing cable find?
I‘ll happily second the OP on ATAudio. Simply high quality at very competitve prices
Eliminated my preamp with amazing results
Uptone Etherregen, Lhy Audio SW6 and/or SW10, SoTM, Waversa, Afterdark, Muon, Silent Angel. No lack of choice here.
