Anyone heard the KIng Sound Princess II monitors?
I agree with Mofimadness, a great speaker and priced way cheap for what it is.
ozonated water for rinse cycle in cleaning vinyl
No problem, ozonated water is part of process to kill bacteria. I think UV light does the conversion.Should you wish to go with even more pure water, lab grade is sold via internet and I've had the best results with NERL Reagent grade.
Anyone heard the Kaiser Kawero's?
I have not heard the Kaiser but your question made me take a look at their web site. If no one at Audiogon has input you can email the factory for the dealers. Even if there is no one local, the cost to (fly) to have a listen is small compared to ...
dual volume controls?
I've had several of each type, I choose equipment for the way it sounds and absolutely would not allow the type of volume control to limit my choices. My Aesthetix Callisto was dual volume control and I used and enjoyed it for about ten years. Neve...
Panasonic TC-P -- G 25 series plasma
So, a Panasonic Plasma that falls, breaks and goes into the dump would be a Panny Waste?
Counterpoint SA-3.1 and 5.1
05-23-10: BigshotMan I love these sites. Albert.Wish is was my site :^). I get to cover shows for Audiogon but no closer connection than that. Reading my comments from nearly a decade ago is fun. I must say that based on that time, the advice I ga...
Panasonic TC-P -- G 25 series plasma
This from a review: We were impressed with last year's NeoPDP panel in the G10 plasmas and the new series G25 offers improved picture with even deeper black levels.I bought the 2009 G10 65" Panasonic Plasma and after professional calibration I ha...
Can I trash this damn transformer? PLEASE
Markeetaux,Assuming it is British 220 - 240 volt you can power it from that service in your home. 60 HZ (USA) is easier on amps that 50 HZ so that part should be good.I would check specs or call REL first, but I did this in my own home, it's the s...
Inactive audio members that you miss
Dan, I have nothing from Stiltskin on Technics plinths and no saved messages anytime during the last four years in my archived mail. I did a search for Stiltskin with Audiogon member lookup it shows he cancelled his account. If you enter his name ...
Aesthetix IO Signature upgrade path?
V/r,Yes, I heard the Nordost Odin but on my friends Aesthetix Eclipse I set up in his system. He has Wilson Alexandria X2 MK2 and it was clearly better than stock cable, no contest.I used Aesthetix for about 10 years, the Io and Callisto are among...
Aesthetix IO Signature upgrade path?
I have used so many different power cords in my system, from HMS, Bryston, Neotech NEP 3001 with Oyaide 79's, snd Harmonix Reference. In the end, I keep going back to the Neotechs and Bryston power cord. I have tried lately the new Pangea AC14 and...
Aesthetix IO Signature upgrade path?
Addition of a second supply and Full Eclipse upgrade are important to performance. I've owned all of these and listened long term to each level. The most important thing is replacing all the stock tubes with better NOS, next would be the caps (Ecli...
Gilmour announces new Flexogen Speaker Cables
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this announcement. I have a set of speakers by the pool and no matter what speaker cable I use the squirrels get into it and ruin it. The squirrels also chewed up my garden hose but after leaving the...
Correcting drifting with Sutherland Timeline
Could you make out the difference in pitch or tonality after the adjustments with the timeline.Mine was 100% perfect, so all I got was confirmation that nothing needed adjustment. Ken Fritz here at Audiogon borrowed my Timeline and found his Denon...
Correcting drifting with Sutherland Timeline
So does this mean the speed should 'not' vary on the turntable once you have removed the Timeline. I would have thought that given the weight of the Timeline, having it on or off the TT, would cause a deviation in speed. The Timeline is maybe 8 ou...
