Subwoofer Causing Amp to Stay On I was thinking an LOC from the amp to a wireless transmitter(rca) which would then send the signal to my subs. Klipsch makes one specifically for the subwoofers I have. Obviously I'll try the LOC directly to Subs first and see if that solves anyth...
Subwoofer Causing Amp to Stay On Before the subs, Audio Note Amp could be on or off and it was dead silence. Now its slight static either on or off.
Subwoofer Causing Amp to Stay On When I say completly off, yes I mean dead silent, I also mean my amplfier has been switched off by the switch on the back of the amplfiier. I do have the Synergistic Research outlet "grounded" to the duplex box it sits in with a green ground wire....
Subwoofer Causing Amp to Stay On They have an auto on/off function, but It shouldn't matter because I cut the power to my entire system, including the subs, by turning off the p5. I even shut down each component with it's off switch and then the p5, still, my speakers persist and...
Does altitude change the sound of speakers?? I live at about 1,400 feet, and visit my hometown often, which is about sea level. Altitude tends to effect the pressure in my ear drum. I always tend to hear everything better at sea level, not just speakers. I think multiple factors play a role....
Recording Chord MScaler Output I think it would be some form of computer hardware to do this, not a device per se. Yes, ideally a Chord DAC would be ideal. I myself have a Qutest, so this would not be a problem for me particularly. I do agree that ideally you have a Chord DAC t...
Network Transport vs. CD Transport Your best bet may be to buy a Intel Nuc with atleast an i5 processor, get a linear power supply for it. Optimize windows using Audiophile Optimizer and Fidelizer, feed the Qutest directly from the computer. That is if your not trying to cough up t...
Network Transport vs. CD Transport I've got a Qutest. Use to feed it with a mac mini as well. My suggestions for you would be buy a Sonore Ultrarendu. It's much better at feeding the qutest than the mac. If you want to get better than that, buy a Uptone Audio Etherregen, switch to ...
Super tweeter for FullRange Driver Hey everyone, thanks for the help, the community has came together wonderfully for me as usual. I am just getting around to adding the Fostek supertweeters to the Audio Nirvana 15in. I ended up going with a .33uf capacitor with an lpad to attenuat...
Super tweeter for FullRange Driver 3uf and 1.5uf seem as little high doesn't it.
Super tweeter for FullRange Driver I appreciate the feedback from everybody. Why I would love to try both the magnats and the enigmacoustics, I'm going to work with some fostex t90a's at first to see if I like what they add. If so, I will upgrade at somepoint, so thanks for the adv...
Super tweeter for FullRange Driver Thanks for the response Duke. Do you suggest I throw in a resistor or two to help attenuate the volume, or some kind of Lpad? I'm guessing the T90As will be significantly louder than the Audio Nirvanas due to there higher sensitivity.
Chord Qutest + MScaler Hey @ianrmack funny enough. I also have my qutest powered by a Teddy Pardo LPS. I've also got a Synergistic Research Master Coupler feeding the Teddy, with a SR Orange Fuse in it. Both the power cord and fuse were substantial upgrade to the sound....
good laptop-computer just for the audio I use an HP laptop. Core I7 processor, 16gb ram, 250gb ssd. I also have it optimized with Audiophile Optimizer and Fidelizer. It’s running Roon Server and HQPlayer. Outputs to my ultrarendu which feeds my DAC(Chord Qutest). Improvements can be mad...
Linear Power supplies for DACs...? I have a Qutest as well. Started with the wall wart, switched to a battery, then got a Teddy Pardo LPS. The Teddy Pardo is amazing, and I've bettered it by using a deep cycle battery and pure sine wave inverter to get completly off the grid(for th... |
