put tube amp on to shelf of a rack
I agree with jnorris2005. Don’t put your tube amp on the bottom of a shelved rack unless there is plenty of space for it to breathe and dissipate heat. Plus, if the shelves are made of glass, the amp could melt the feet of the component above it. ...
ls FM radio even listenable any more?
My Magnum Dynalabs tuner is in its box and in the closet because as a jazz music lover, I found it pretty useless here in Charleston, SC. I installed a Sirius FM receiver and get a very good signal, especially late at night.
Old vs New, an experience with Dynaudio.
TLDR
Who puts their speakers right up against the back wall and why?
People place their speakers up against the wall mainly because the speakers (several models) were designed to be used that way. Other people do it because their wives demand it as an ultimatum for the continuance of their marriage. It’s called the...
Sam here.l realize now why so many people think my ideas are crazy?
It's not your ideas that I think are crazy.

New Unreleased Art Blakey
I recently picked up Blakey's Live In Paris "65 with his Freddie Hubbard, Nathan Davis, Jaki Byard, and Reggie Workman group. I have Just Coolin' on my wishlist, but am in no hurry to get it especially after the review.
Jazz vocalists which may not be as real as we think/imagine
I still have no idea what you're talking about. At least we have that one thing in common.
Jazz vocalists which may not be as real as we think/imagine
I would agree that she is a better pianist than vocalist, but dull? Hardly.
New Turntable Direction
You will have to spend a lot of money to get a turntable that betters the performance of your LP-12. And you may still miss the rhythm, pace, and musicality of the Linn. If you are just yearning for something sexier or more expensive looking, you ...
