Vinyl pressing mistakes
The mistake is admitting to owning a John Tesh LP, even in jest! :-)
Vandersteen 3x Owners: More Bass?
Thanks, P. This is what I thought. Guess I had mistakenly inferred from Zargon's comments that he was using separate, additional subs.
Vandersteen 3x Owners: More Bass?
Zargon, this is in no way a negative comment on your system. I'm sure it sounds fabulous. However, I am disappointed to hear that the 5's can be improved measurably by using subs in conjunction. Would have thought, for that price, that the use of ...
Best sounding reggae on analog?

Getting into analog is tough....
Doug, point taken. I was assuming the exclusion of live events when posing my rhetorical question of "where would we go?". However, I am shocked that it did not provoke a rather profane pun from the crowd, as it were. :-)
Getting into analog is tough....
Getting in is hard? Getting out is tougher......., where do you go?

Is vinyl dead ?
Newbee says, "You will note that the is the analog forum, aka the lunatic fringe, whose member's interests in music are, for the most part, frozen in time."Must be why I have 1957 Miles Davis and 1966 Beatles and 2003 Coldplay, 1960 Stanley Brothe...
