Will China become the poor man’s dealer for high end audio?
It’s simple corporations will manufacture wherever it’s cheapest to do so, the dollar has no allegiance. Investors above all avoid salaries, benefits, taxes, simple math.  Now add the crowd control politics and religion in the same bed equation an...
Can you have too much speaker presence?
Buy the biggest appropriately for your room, control the volume duh….
Infinity IRS BETA
I’ve worked my way up through the infinity line to my main system, which incorporates a late model IRS Beta system. My observations are room size / treatment, placement, amplification. Definitely a speaker that requires patience and quality compon...
Stereophile review of Millercarbon system featuring Tektron speakers
MC… the king of magic beans, pastes, pads, riser’s. Owner of the worlds best speakers designed by the best audio engineer bar none, I do miss having a good laugh ! Onward and upward 😎 Cheers
Burn in vs perception
Agree 100% mechanical movement, materials flexing, etc. No imagination there.    Cheers
Burn in vs perception
Actually waiting at emergency would be more beneficial lol Cheers
Burn in vs perception
@tonywinga I do have the GTO, a convertible 4 speed. Original parts aside, I installed the modified 455HO engine plus drive train and chassis upgrades. I’ve speed and modern, comfortable-handling win-win.
Burn in vs perception
Still amounts to useless information as to the subject at hand that being audio. No one said anything about extreme voltage / amperage such as down wires from transformer on a pole. And finally, if retired, my guess is there are a few managers out...
Burn in vs perception
And to you sir, kindly explain what this wire electrical phenomenon has to do with audio ? I hazard to say absolutely nothing ! But I do thank you for the Humorous opportunity, have a nice day 😂
Burn in vs perception
The story I really found intriguing was the gentleman who claims at high volumes the wires in his system move. Perhaps it was critical listening and his chair was electric, damn it’s hard to find people to A/B that theory. Cheers
Burn in vs perception
So add it up burn in is bogus this time… yay !  Over and over it goes, on and on for ever. Like some I’ve been at it for 50 ish years but fortunately I didn’t get sucked into the crap part of the audio world.
What's up with the price of Vintage equipment?
Price of everything is crazy nowadays product of the times, Covid etc. etc. Second observation and I truly believe this if you bought well engineered well designed very high end in the late 70s 80s it is still relevant by today’s standards. I happ...
Furutech Mains Power Cables Hierarchy & Differences
Funny how cable manufactures all agree that the product they’re selling really is phenomenal and makes that ‘big’  difference then the burn in .., we don’t know why but all believe it right ? Physics who believes that crap anyway.
Furutech Mains Power Cables Hierarchy & Differences
@jhnnrrs +1  Can’t see the block coming, nothing offensive in the statement. Hard to build a case against physics. Another observation sees smaller systems with the inability to reproduce the life like live Euphorium. So it’s the silk purse out o...
Why Do Cables Matter?
Lot of words that mean nothing, sort of debate garbage. If you have the right size pure copper wire with well made conductive ends that’s as good as it gets. Adding boutique C..p, rolling it flat, making it pretty on and on does nothing except tea...
