Preamp Deal of the Century

If anyone is looking for a true "World Class" preamp at a very fair price..heed my advice. I just recieved a Supratek Syrah preamp that was hand built by Mick Maloney in Western Australia, and it is absolutely beautiful! This preamp is the best deal you will ever find. I would put it up against any preamp out there for both looks and sound. Price? $2500 for the Syrah (includes Killer Phono stage). Not into phono? Try the Chardonney line stage for $2100. Don't get me wrong, I am not associated with this company. I am just a very happy owner! This preamp is VERY dynamic, yet liquid. It conveys the sound of music better than any other preamp that I have ever heard! You can check out the Supratek website at www. cantech.net.au

And the obvious question would be can old ones be upgraded? Or, (I'm sure he doesn't want to be deluged with old stuff in the mail) can an 'upgrade pack' and instructions for a local tube-expert guy to do be purchased? Obviously not now, but its a thought. If the sound difference is substantial could be worth it. I suppose first we should see what people think about the difference. I have a Chardonnay personally.
People asked above about remotes. The remote codes are in the Logitech database, so the Harmony One will work. I love it. It replaced something like 10+ remotes. My wife says it is the best audio purchase I've made, better than my Maggie 3.6 speakers, my Pass amp, or even my Chardonnay.
I have been contemplating purchasing the Supratek grange, but cannot get an email repy from the company. I have tried three times and to no avail. does anyone know how else to contact them.
Good luck convincing Mick to build you a Grange or a Cabernet. He says they are too labor intensive and expensive to build so he decided to focus on the lower models.
Thx xiii, I would love to have one his cortese units. Maybe if i tell him that. He might responed
