Disappointed to hear that Cary has no CD Players.

I guess Cary is not currently interested in making Cd players. I've been very happy with the older 306/200 player. I was thinking the 303T would be a good upgrade...
Oh, well....Guess I'm just old school....

I can certainly understand someone`s preference for the conveniece of computer audio. But pulling CDs from a cabinet or rack and loading them has risen to the level of PITA? Is it that much of a chore? What level is playing LPs or R2R tape?
Regards,
What is it with "audio only" players that either do SACD or DSD, but not both? The Cary DMC600 is the most ideal "audio only" player, except that it does not have SACD capability.
Thank you Goldprintaudio the DCM600 looks great!
Also, agree with Charles1dad. Is it that much of a chore?
I don't mind....Thanks for your comments...
The "cd player" basically is a computer, hardware and software.

Computer designs get outdated quickly but the CDP had a great run.

As painful as it is to accept, the new CDP will be based on Mac, Linux or Windows and Dell, Apple, , Lenovo, Intel etc.

And for audiophiles that like to optimize and experiment, this makes it so EASY and cheap to change out software and various settings etc.

That is great news!
