Views on Acoustic Signature Tables

I am looking at one of these TT's. Probably one of the higher level models like in the Thunder to Ascona range. I like high mass designs and Gunther seams to make a well engineered table with decent value for the high end. Anyone have any a reason to stay away??

It's all about distribution and the distributors ability to get publicity and advertising as well as reviews, that helps move the turntables.
Just because a certain product appears to be more widely excepted, does not mean it is better.

Thanks for the above comments. Has anyone else had any experience with the Acoustic Signature tables?
Hello,

I owned the Acoustic Signature Mambo in the past and think it was an excellent table. Better than many higher priced tables I've heard since. Wish I never sold it....

I now own the Ascona. But it has been used in a different, low-frequency limited system so far. Once I have experience of using it in my main system I'll provide some feedback.

Anyway, I highly recommend AS tables. I suspect the Storm is their best value today. The Novum also looks very interesting.
Aoliviero,

Thank you. I am extremely interested in your view of the Ascona. That is my first choice. Please let me know when you can about it's performance.

Thanks,
