Diablo 333 vs 330 for SF Amati G5

Has anyone listened to both those amps, and concluded that the 333 is a significant step up?

I currently run my Amati G5 with Sim Audio Moon 700iV2...Tried the MA12000 before this, and really loved the clarity and openness of the vocals in this setup vs the McIntosh.

Would love to hear from you before going either direction. Thank you and God bless!

Thank you! Yes I meant the 300 vs the 333. My dealer obviously wants to sell me the 333 (in exchange vs my Sim Moon), but I'm trying to see if I can buy the 300 somewhere.

Obviously there are contradictory views on this one, Diablo 300 vs 333. My dealer told me although there is a noticeable difference between the 300 and 333, it’s not really significant, but there is a big difference going from the 333 to Essence pre-power. The remark was made based on the current new price of the 333 vs used prices of 300. As the 300 can he had for about half the price of the 333, it’s great value.

However, if one has the funds, then 333 is the way to go. FWIW i just bought a used 300 which comes with the optional built-in DAC module from my dealer after one of his customers upgraded to the Essence. In brief summary, if you already have the 300, it may not be worthwhile to upgrade to the 333. If you don’t own the 300, it may be worthwhile to get the 333, or consider the 300 if you have a tight budget. My dealer thinks the 300 doesn’t lose a lot to the 333 and considering the current used prices of the 300 it is a better buy than the 333.

Another factor which may not be important to you is the weight of the amp. I initially didn’t want to consider the 300 due to the size and weight (85 lbs) but finally caved in after much deliberation. The 333 is a whopping 112 lbs.
