NuPrime Customer Service


NuPrime basically ignored my issue with a CDT-9 transport after I created a help ticket. I say ‘ignored’ because the NuPrime CSR repeated the issue I identified without providing any additional information on how they propose to fix the issue. The transport has increasingly failed to read then play discs – discs that play perfectly in a DVD player, car player, and external computer drive.

I waited a week without any NuPrime suggestion about what they will do. The ‘no response’ problem forced me to create a second ticket hoping to get someone that shows a desire to actually help. NuPrime failed to respond to either ticket for a second week.

So, if you are thinking about a CDT-9 transport for your audio system, I would keep in mind that service is not NuPrime’s forte.

Evening update: The seller, Summit Hi-Fi USA, tells me they will arrange service or work something out on this CD transport. We shall see...

Summit Hi Fi said I would hear from this guy named Ralph about having this serviced. That was a week ago and I have heard absolutely nothing from this Ralph person.

 

Not a chance I would buy a NuPrime product or use Summit Hi Fi again! We are into week three and no one is stepping up.
