Coda 8 - Which variant/

Hello,

After many hours of research, I have decided to upgrade to the Coda 8 amp but am undecided on which variant.  I am currently running Ascend Sierra Towers but will possibly upgrade those speakers in the next couple years.  They have sensitivity of 91db.  

I like to occasionally turn up the volume and am leaning towards the V2.  I feel like I will cross the 100db level before moving out of the Class A part of the amplifier.  How important is the headroom of the V1 of 150w vs V2 of 250w?  

Also I feel the V2 would potentially match with harder to drive speakers leaving more options as I upgrade.  Please let me know your thoughts.
