VTL MB-450 or Manley studio 440 input voltage modification

I really want to own the VTL MB450 amplifiers or Manley Studio 440. Unfortunately, they are practically unavailable in Europe.
Each of these monoblocks has two transformers.
Does anyone know if this amplifier can be easily modified to 240V?
Maybe a simple reconnection of transformers will turn a 120V amp into a 240V amp.
Alternatively, maybe you can point me to a service that will even give me such advice for a fee.
Thank You

Why not just buy a 240V to 120V step down transformer big enough to power both amps? I run 100V Japanese gear on 120V using step down transformers. As a bonus they clean up some of the line noise.

Bill, that's a viable idea, but these behemoths pull a lot of current, and one would always wonder whether the step down was doing a good job of supplying same.  So maybe if you used a step down with a 2X or higher excess of peak current draw it would be worry free, but such a beast would be huge and rather expensive.  Just a guess.
