Minions: The Rise of Gru - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Qobuz

This is great!  At least what I've heard so far... I'm about halfway through it.  Some great re-workings of classic 70's rock and disco songs by modern artists.

I’ve been checking out a New York-based collective of Brazilian artists called “Forro in the Dark” on Qobuz. Popping music!

The new releases for the week are out on Qobuz and there's a reissue of Cake's Fashion Nugget which is one of my all time favorite albums.  I recognize that Cake may fall in the "love them or hate them" category, but I happen to love their deadpan sardonic wit and crafty musicianship.  It's also out on vinyl, which I'm really excited about.

I’ve been dipping into the new Qobuz releases also.  
 

The UB40 album “Unprecedented” is a return to form for the group  

Imagine Dragons - Mercury Acts 1&2.  I’m not really familiar with this group, but have to say I like the album.  Also a few really good pop songs  

Les Paul - Best of the Capitol Masters is well worth listening to.
