So what us inside the device? Springs? Dampening material or a combination? Thanks

I was not allowed to upload the Revopod cross section from their website. It is very informative and their description lays out how it works. It makes total sense and they allow radial movement and lateral movement with their design, thereby dissipating vibration energy in every direction except straight up to your component.

I have four different products of theirs and each one has been amazing.

I have the GAIA isolation feet for my speaker stands and it helped focus the soundstage and increased the force of bass.

I have the OREA that I used on my powered subwoofer which not only focused its bass, but since its vibrations were impacting the speakers, it improved the main speaker’s high frequency clarity.

Then I got the ISO200sub isolation stand for one of subwoofers and it solved a problem where the sub was making a fluttering noise if the bass hit too hard. Apparently, the hard-plastic nubs for feet were doing the sub no favors on the hardwood floor.

I also got their Zazen isolation platform for my Denon turntable. It helped to balance the sound output; that’s the best way I can describe what it did. It didn’t increase the highs, mids or bass and it didn’t alter the soundstage in any way I could perceive. But the sound became balanced. Like percussion, and other instruments had the same volume and clarity as the vocals.

So, whatever they do....they it do it well and for a very reasonable price.

I've heard tapioca pudding constrained in a zip-lock baggie is also quite good (to eat).
